The manufacturing of salted butter toffees

The traditional toffee Atelier Des Douceurs is manufactured according to the tradition.

The sugar syrup is heated in copper cauldrons once “to prevent it from sticking to the teeth”. Then we add the butter and other ingredients according to the aroma (milk, cream, honey…). It is baked a second time before pouring into frames for molding. Once cooled, the toffee is ready for cutting.
